About The Clark Art Institute
The Clark began in 1950 as the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute and a home for a large personal art collection. Five years later the institute opened their doors to the public, adding to the collection and becoming a renowned research center focusing on the nature of art and art history.
The Clark currently has two lithographs by Thomas Hart Benton in their collection.
